Catherine Corrigall-Brown ist eine kanadische Soziologin, die als Professorin an der University of British Columbia forscht und lehrt.[1] Sie ist die für 2026/27 designierte Präsidentin der Canadian Sociological Association (CSA).[2]
Werdegang
Corrigall-Brown legte 2000 ihr Bachelor-Examen im Fach Soziologie an der University of Victoria ab und wechselte an die US-amerikanische University of California, Irvine, wo sie 2004 den Master-Abschluss machte und 2007 promoviert wurde. Im selben Jahr wurde sie Post-Doctoral Fellow an der University of British Columbia. Von 2011 bis 2015 war sie Assistenzprofessorin an der University of Western Ontario. 2015 kehrte sie nach Vancouver an die University of British Columbia zurück, wo sie seither lehrt und forscht.[3]
In ihrem Forschungsprogramm verbindet Corrigall-Brown die Teilbereiche soziale Bewegungen, politische Soziologie und Sozialpsychologie (insbesondere die Identitätsforschung).[1]
