Henry Cousens

Nach seinem Studium trat er im Jahr 1881 in den Dienst der Western Division des Archaeological Survey of India und verblieb dort bis zu seinem Rückzug im Jahr 1910. Er reiste viel und veröffentlichte zahlreiche Werke zur nordindischen Architektur; vor allem seine Fotografien erwarben ihm großes Ansehen in britischen Archäologenkreisen.
