Face to Face 1998 war eine Konzerttournee der Sänger und Pianisten Billy Joel und Elton John.

Hintergrund
Die gemeinsame Tournee Face to Face 1998 des US-Amerikaners Joel und des Briten John startete am 4. März 1998 in Perth, endete am 30. Juni des gleichen Jahres in Zürich und beinhaltete 28 Auftritte in Europa, Asien und Ozeanien. Es war die einzige Tournee der Face to Face-Reihe, die auf diesen Kontinenten stattfand und gleichzeitig die einzige, die keine Auftritte in Nordamerika einschloss. Für diese Tour mit Joel unterbrach John seine parallel laufende Big Picture Tour.
Bei den Konzerten in London (6. Juni 1998), Düsseldorf (10. Juni 1998) sowie dem Abschlusskonzert in Zürich musste Billy Joel krankheitsbedingt ausfallen. Elton John bestritt diese Shows daraufhin ohne Joel und kürzte das Programm so, dass es zum großen Teil aus seinen Songs bestand, er jedoch trotzdem vereinzelte Stücke von Joel darbot.[1]
