Garry Owen

Garry Owen (* 18. Februar 1902 in Brookhaven, Mississippi, Vereinigte Staaten; † 1. Juni 1951 in Hollywood, Kalifornien, Vereinigte Staaten) war ein US‑amerikanischer Schauspieler, der in über 180 Filmen mitspielte.
Leben und Karriere
Garry Owen begann seine Filmkarriere Anfang der 1930er Jahre. Er war vor allem als Nebendarsteller bekannt, der häufig kleinere aber markante Rollen spielte, etwa als Taxifahrer, Reporter, Polizist, Kellner oder Gelegenheitsfigur. Eine seiner bekannteren Rollen ist die als Taxifahrer in Arsen und Spitzenhäubchen („Arsenic and Old Lace“, 1944).
Owen war nie verheiratet und hatte keine Kinder. Er wurde auf dem Chapel of the Pines Crematory bestattet.[1]
