Die Island Games 2009 waren die 13. Auflage der Spiele. Sie fanden vom 27. Juni bis zum 4. Juli 2009 zum zweiten Mal nach 1991 auf Åland statt. Es nahmen 2286 Athleten teil.

Die Prince Edward Island trat vor den Spielen aus der IIGA wegen finanzieller Gründe aus.[1]
