Die Auszeichnungen werden von der Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) vergeben. Gewürdigt werden die Leistungen einheimischer Musiker und die Erfolge ausländischer Musiker in Kanada im vergangenen Jahr.

Mit vier Auszeichnungen erhielt die Sängerin Tate McRae, wie bereits bei den Juno Awards 2025, die meisten Ehrungen. Zusammen mit Justin Bieber ist sie (mit 6 Nominierungen) auch die am häufigsten nominierte Künstlerin gewesen.^[4]
