Rosemary Foot

Rosemary Foot (* 4. Juni 1948[1]) ist eine britische Politikwissenschaftlerin und emeritierte Professorin für Internationale Beziehungen an der University of Oxford.[2] 1996 wurde sie zum Fellow (FBA) der British Academy gewählt.[3]
Foot studierte an der University of Essex, der SOAS University of London und der London School of Economics and Political Science, wo sie 1977 zur Ph.D. promoviert wurde. Anschließend war sie Dozentin für Internationale Beziehungen an der University of Sussex. 1990 wechselte sie als Professorin nach Oxford. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind die Sicherheitspolitik im asiatisch-pazifischen Raum, die internationale Politik sowie die US-amerikanisch-chinesischen Beziehungen.[2]
