The LIV legislative period of the Chilean Congress was elected in the 2013 Chilean parliamentary election and served until 11 March 2018.[1]

    La senadora Lily Pérez fue elegida como parte del pacto Coalición por el Cambio (Alianza) mientras era militante de RN, en las elecciones parlamentarias de 2009. En enero de 2014, renunció a Renovación Nacional y se adhirió al recientemente creado Amplitud.

    La senadora Ximena Rincón fue elegida en las elecciones parlamentarias de 2009 pero el 11 de marzo de 2014 asumió como ministra Secretaría General de la Presidencia. El Partido Demócrata Cristiano designó a Manuel Matta Aragay como su reemplazante por los 4 años restantes del período senatorial, luego de una elección primaria realizada el 27 de abril de 2014, en la que triunfó sobre Pablo Gutiérrez y Mariano Fernández.

    El senador Horvath fue elegido como parte del pacto Coalición por el Cambio (Alianza) mientras era militante de RN, en las elecciones parlamentarias de 2009. En diciembre de 2013, renunció a Renovación Nacional y decidió ejercer como independiente.

    El diputado Jorge Insunza asumió el 11 de mayo de 2015 asumió como ministro Secretario General de la Presidencia. El PPD realizó una consulta voluntaria, participativa y ciudadana el 19 de julio de 2015, que determinó a Miguel Ángel Alvarado Ramírez como ganador, siendo designado para asumir como su reemplazante en la Cámara de Diputados.

    El 19 de junio la Corte Suprema oficializa la sentencia por desafuero del diputado RN Rosauro Martinez por la investigación en la muerte de tres militantes del MIR en 1984. El 4 de julio la Cámara es notificada formalmente del desafuero, por ello se ajustan nuevamente los quórum requeridos para las leyes, por lo que el oficialismo queda con mayoría.
