FishBase also includes Apogonichthys landoni which Eschmeyer's Catalog of Fishes classifies as Foa landoni, but only recognises four species in total, with A. ahimsa as Apogonichthyoides chrysurus and A. waikiki synonymised with A. perdix.[2]
