Arctic Explorer is a Russian brand of functional outerwear, founded in 2015 in Moscow. The company specializes in winter jackets and parkas designed for use in low temperatures. Production takes place in the Russian Federation.
History
The brand was founded in 2015 by Ksenia Chilingarov and Anatoly Tsoir.[1]
Ksenia Chilingarov is an entrepreneur and public figure, the daughter of Artur Chilingarov, a Soviet and Russian Arctic and Antarctic explorer, twice awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union and Hero of the Russian Federation.
Artur Chilingarov is known for his participation in and leadership of several polar expeditions, including a deep-sea expedition to the North Pole in 2007. The theme of Arctic exploration and polar research influenced the brand's concept and visual identity.
Products
