Arthur W. Woods

Arthur W. Woods is an American entrepreneur and author known for his work in workforce technology and diversity-focused organizations.[1] He is a co-founder of Imperative, Mathison, and Out in Tech.[2][3] In 2018, he was included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the category.[4][5][6]
Woods graduated from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University in 2010.[7][8]
While at Georgetown, he co-founded Compass Fellowship, a student-led social entrepreneurship initiative.[7]
Career
In 2013, Woods co-founded Out in Tech, a nonprofit organization supporting LGBTQ+ professionals in the technology sector.[9]
In 2014, he co-founded Imperative, a peer-coaching software company.[9] Imperative was acquired by Chronus in 2024.[10]
In 2019, Woods co-founded Mathison, a workforce analytics company focused on diversity hiring and talent systems.[11] Mathison was acquired by Changeforce in 2024.[12]
