Boobs and Blood

Boobs & Blood (also known as B&B) is a Los Angeles-based horror media brand encompassing a film festival[1], a publication[2], and a film distribution label[3]. Founded in 2005 by British filmmaker Miles Flanagan, the project acts as a fundraiser for various breast cancer charities, including Bowling for Boobies[4] Feel Your Boobies[5] and the Keep A Breast Foundation.

Film Festival

Launched in September 24-30 2010[6] at the New Beverly Cinema[7], this annual film festival[8] focuses on cult and grindhouse cinema[9], held in conjunction with Flanagan’s Hollywood Horrorfest. Competition films are judged by an all-female panel[10]. Held the first Screen Queenathon panel in 2018[11].

Magazine

A horror and culture publication[12] called Boobs and Blood launched in June 2018 and fundraises for breast cancer charities.

Distribution

In partnership with FilmFest Distribution, the B&B label releases blu-ray, DVD and streaming titles[13]. Titles include President Wolfman, Live Nude Girls, and Low Riders vs Zombies From Space.

Awards

The Boobs and Blood Award, designed by artist Spencer Davis, and given out annually at the film festival, recognizes contributions to the genre. Recipients have included Jeffrey Reddick, Anulka Dziubinska, Christine Nguyen, Brigitte Berlin, Yutaka Ikejima[14], the Suicide Girls, Roger Corman[15], and Quentin Tarantino, who received the "Humanitarian of the Year"[16] Award for his support of the New Beverly Cinema[17].
