It is a subsidiary of Beaumont Designs, a company founded in 2007 and headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. CG Hunter was established as a direct-to-consumer brand in 2023.[1] The company also supplies products to Costco under the CGH brand name.[2]

The company began supplying faux plant products to Costco under the CGH label prior to 2023.[2] In 2023, the CG Hunter brand was launched as a separate direct-to-consumer label, with sales conducted through a dedicated website and additional retail channels.[1]
