Foxx is best known for his sharp witted and subversive comedy style,[5] including satirical parodies of affluent English demographics.[6] His debut Edinburgh Festival Fringe show, Villain, was a sold-out success and considered to be a strong professional debut.[7][8] In 2019, Foxx wrote the book and lyrics for the musical Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch.[9] In 2024, he also published a comedy picture book Bedtime Stories for Overprivileged Children.[10]
Foxx's podcast with Dane Buckley, Welcome to Hell, toured live in 2025 and was featured at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.[11] In 2026, Foxx is touring his second stand-up comedy show, How Lovely.[12][13]
Personal life
Foxx is currently on the road performing his stand-up comedy show, How Lovely, which was inspired by a major relationship breakup and difficulties navigating online dating apps.[14] Foxx has stated that this tour is the first time he has visited Australia.[15]
When not performing, Daniel enjoys spending time with his dog Paddy.[16]
