Doug Gordon is a writer,[1] media producer, public speaker,[2][3] and podcaster who co-hosts The War on Cars[4] with Sarah Goodyear. Gordon, Goodyear, and Aaron Naparstek wrote Life After Cars, a book that explores the effects of car dependency. He has written for Streetsblog since 2010[5] and has had pieces published by The Guardian,[6] The New Republic,[7] Salon.com,[8] Curbed, Jalopnik,[9] and The New York Daily News.[10] He has worked as a TV writer and producer for multiple channels and shows including PBS,[11] The UnXplained, Ancient Aliens, The Curse of Oak Island, Mysteries at the Museum, and Mysteries at the Monument.

Personal life
He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two children. He is involved in advocacy for the Safe streets movement and New York's Leading pedestrian interval bill.[12]
