Hong Eunchae (Korean: 홍은채; born November 10, 2006), also known mononymously as Eunchae, is a South Korean singer. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Le Sserafim.

Early life and education
Hong Eunchae was born on November 10, 2006 in Miryang, South Gyongsang, South Korea.[2] She developed an interest in dance at a young age and began training prior to her debut. Before joining her current agency, she auditioned for several entertainment companies, including JYP Entertainment and Pledis Entertainment.
Eunchae joined Source Music in January 2021 after auditioning at a dance academy. Following approximately one year and three months of training, she debuted as a member of Le Sserafim.[2]
Career
2021: Pre-debut
In January 2021, Hong joined Source Music after auditioning through a dance academy. She began her training as a K-pop idol, preparing for her debut with Le Sserafim. Prior to joining Source Music, she had also auditioned for JYP Entertainment and Pledis Entertainment.[2]
2022: Debut with Le Sserafim
In 2022, Hong debuted as a member of the South Korean girl group Le Sserafim. The group, formed by Source Music and Hybe, officially debuted on May 2, 2022 with their first extended play Fearless, which featured the lead single of the same name. The release marked Source Music's first girl group launch and included members Sakura, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Kim Garam, and Hong Eunchae. Fearless achieved commercial success and helped establish Le Sserafim as a new act in the South Korean music industry.[3][4]
2023–present: Solo activities
In 2023, Hong began hosting her own web variety series, Eunchae's Star Diary, on the KBS Kpop YouTube channel, featuring conversations and guest appearances with other K-pop artists.[5]
In February 2023, Hong appeared as a fixed MC of the South Korean music program Music Bank on KBS2, alongside co-host Lee Chae-min.[6]
