Please add references that meet these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia. It is often easier to prove the notability of an album or artist than an individual song or band member. If the subject is not yet notable, consider improving a relevant existing article instead. |
Comment: Please see WP:42 for more information on what kind of sources you need to show that your subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In particular, interviews with or sources written by the subject (or their friends, family, colleagues, etc) are not considered independent. Facebook and Discogs are not reliable sources. Reviews of his performances - with plenty of coverage of him specifically, not any band he's played with - would be very helpful. Comment: This article is massively WP:REFBOMBed, with large amounts of superfluous/redundant citations (such as for his individual producer credits and lots of overlapping coverage of him leaving the band). Trim the reflist down to the important stuff which demonstrates WP:GNG/WP:NMUSIC then resubmit. Athanelar (talk) 13:01, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

Unearth

Unearth was formed by Susi, Buz McGrath, Mike Rudberg, Chris Rybicki in Boston, Massachusetts in 1998. The band began as Point 04, releasing two albums under that name.[5] The name "Unearth" was coined by drummer Mike Rudberg as he wanted the band to "Unearth" a new sound in the metal and hardcore world.[6] They released their first album The Stings Of Conscience in 2001.[7]
Susi and Unearth began to pick up traction with their following releases The Oncoming Storm (2004),[8] III: In the Eyes of Fire (2006)[9] and The March (2008)[10] this led the group to become a foundational part of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal and melodic metalcore genre.[11]
The 2010s seen Susi and the band release 3 more albums Darkness in the Light (2011),[12] Watchers of Rule (2014)[13] and Extinction(s) (2018) which would end up being his final recording appearance with the band. In 2019 Susi claimed that Unearth this one of the few metalcore bands that stuck to their roots.[14] Stating "We've stuck to our roots. We're one of the only bands that have, and there's other bands who have been copying our sound for years who may be bigger. It's okay; it goes with the territory."[15] As in October of 2022 he announced he would be taking an extended break from the band as he had started touring with As I Lay Dying. In March 2023 Unearth announced that Susi had officially parted ways.[16]
As I Lay Dying

However a month before the album was released Susi along with every other member of the band besides lead singer Tim Lambesis announced their departure from the band, Susi stated his reason was that his "personal morals have been tested to a breaking point" and he need to preserve "personal health and integrity".[18]
