Khương Hữu Lộc, known as Loc Khuong, is a Vietnamese-American economist, corporate finance executive, and academic serving as Executive Vice President, CFO and Treasurer of Asurity Technologies.[1][2] He is a professor at Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and an economic commentator for VOA Tiếng Việt, Radio Free Asia, and Người Việt TV.[3][4][5]

Early life and education

Born in Saigon, South Vietnam, Khương Hữu Lộc was educated in the French lycée system before emigrating to the United States.[6] He holds a BBA from Loyola University Chicago, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a DBA and Ph.D. in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University.[1][6][7]

Career

Khương has over 25 years of senior finance experience at firms including Lhoist Chemical Lime Company (1995–2010), MoneyGram International, Concentra, and AmerisourceBergen.[6][5] Since 2016, he has served as CFO at Asurity Technologies.[1][2] He has been a professor at DeVry University since 2006, chairing the MAFM program and receiving the Teaching Excellence Award.[6][7]

He hosts Câu Chuyện Kinh Tế on VOA Tiếng Việt[3] and his YouTube channel Câu Chuyện Kinh Tế Thế Giới draws hundreds of thousands of views.[5][8] His commentary covers oil prices,[9] Vietnam's developing-country status,[10] U.S. inflation,[11] Vietnam's market economy status,[12] Vietnamese banking,[13] and the Russian economy.[6][14]
