History
Lucent Innovation was founded in October 2013 by Ashish Kasama and Nitesh Kasma. The name "Lucent" derives from the word meaning luminous or giving light. The company began as a two-person operation before expanding its services and team over the following years.
In 2015, the company became a Shopify expert partner, and by 2016 it achieved Shopify Plus Partner status as the team grew to 13 members. In 2017, the company established an office in New York. In 2019, the company expanded further with a second office in Ahmedabad, India, growing to 30 team members.
