What is boxing?
Boxing can be described as all of the following:
- Sport – form of competitive physical activity that aims to improve fitness and entertain participants or spectators.
- Contact sport – involve physical contact between players.
- Combat sport – competitive contact sport with rules simulating hand-to-hand combat.
- Collision sport – in which athletes purposely collide with each other or objects.
