History
SandBrix was officially unveiled on March 25, 2025, by Supreme Global Holdings Chairman R. M. Manivannan. The platform was positioned as a "digital revolution" intended to eliminate subscription barriers for premium content in Sri Lanka.[3]
Upon its launch, SandBrix secured the digital broadcasting rights for the 2025 IPL season, offering the matches to Sri Lankan viewers free of charge. This move was a strategic effort to challenge established paid streaming services in the region. By August 2025, the service reported having streamed over 3,500 hours of live cricket action.[4]
