Hansen began acting as a child, landing his first role at the age of 8 as Toddler Mozart in the 2018 television series Mozart in the Jungle. A year later he made his film debut in the 2019 film Just Mercy in the role of Kris Ansley.[4]
He has also appeared in a number of other films and TV shows including the TV miniseries Lisey's Story and the 2025 film Now You See Me: Now You Don't.[1][5][6]

Sebastian Eugene Hansen was born on April 6, 2010.[7] His father, Michael worked in the film industry for many years. Hansen grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and attends high school at Atlanta's Midtown High School.[1][8]
Career
Hansen began acting at the age of 5 after his father, who had been in the film industry for many years, wanted to let him try acting to see whether he would enjoy it.[1] Hansen made his acting debut in 2018 in the TV show Mozart in the Jungle as Toddler Mozart. A year later he would appear in his first movie, the 2019 film Just Mercy as Kris Ansley. In 2023 he was cast in his breakout role as Henry in the 2025 film A Minecraft Movie.[1][2][3][4]
In 2025 Hansen starred in the film Now You See Me: Now You Don't in the role of Young Bosco.[1][5][6]
Personal Life
Hansen is a big fan of the game Minecraft. In a 2025 interview with Collider for his role in A Minecraft Movie, he said that during the COVID-19 pandemic he beat the game in under 30 minutes.[2] He is also a fan of the late Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade. According to A Minecraft Movie Director Jared Hess, he was urged by Hansen to include a tribute to Technoblade in the film.[9][10]
