Production
Development
In February 2025, DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran announced that it had greenlit three "younger-skewed" animated series—Starfire!, My Adventures with Green Lantern, and DC Super Powers—that were being co-produced with Warner Bros. Animation and executive producer Sam Register. The former was based on the DC Comics character Koriand'r / Starfire. Josie Campbell, a writer and producer for several DC animated series including My Adventures with Superman, was set to executive produce the series while Brianne Drouhard was a co-executive producer.[1] Austin Reinkens will be art director for the series. He told Animation Magazine in March 2026, that work on the series involved "11-minute action comedies...chock-full of designs that need to be created in a short period" and said production schedules are "ultra tight," so he had to ensure neither he, nor other members of his team, experienced burnout.[2]
Release
Starfire! will be released as part of the "DC Elseworlds" label.[3]
