The Swaddle is an independent digital media company[1] based in Mumbai, India, known for offering alternative perspectives on news, culture and current events[2] through its publication, podcasts, social-first video series, and documentary shorts.[3] [4] The Swaddle’s multimedia team has produced work on themes ranging from Mumbai’s last surviving courtesans[5] to the K-pop fandom in India.[6] Its original video series making South Asian academic scholarship accessible in video format[7][8]is still used as a teaching tool in universities around India.[9][10]
