History

Beginnings as WDAE repeater

Former logo as 620 WDAE

On May 6, 2013, Clear Channel Communications announced that WDAE would have a repeater on Radio Training Network-Owned translator, having WDAE broadcast on a 250 watt-station and WDAE programming was also available on W244BE Brandon and on WBTP-HD3 in Clearwater, Florida. Making W237CW/W244BE/WBTP-HD3/WDAE compete with back at the day Sports talk radio station WHFS-FM (now K-LOVE) on 98.7 FM.[2]

WDAE focusing on FM Radio rather than AM

On November 28, 2018, with a new programming lineup coming up in the following days, WDAE changed it's name to 95.3 WDAE & AM 620 with WDAE promoting both WDAE-AM and W237CW and also promoting the iHeartRadio App.[3]

Rumba format swaps to 95.3
