WDAE focusing on FM Radio rather than AM
On November 28, 2018, with a new programming lineup coming up in the following days, WDAE changed it's name to 95.3 WDAE & AM 620 with WDAE promoting both WDAE-AM and W237CW and also promoting the iHeartRadio App.[3]

Rumba format swaps to 95.3

On February 13, 2026, IHeartMedia announced that WDAE would move to WRUB's 100 kW signal in 95.7 on February 23, 2026, leading the Rumba format swap to 95.3 as well as bringing the format back on 102.9 W275AZ after almost 2 years. On February 23, 2026, the Rumba format moved to 95.3 and WDAE moved to 95.7. Until this day, Rumba still broadcasts this format on 95.3 & 102.9 branded as "Rumba 95.3 & 102.9"[4]
