Assistance required: Use of the EfC scheme mark on Wikipedia
I've just drafted the Exchange for Change (EfC) article on the upcoming UK deposit return scheme (DRS) and submitted it for Wikipedia peer review. The DRS already has a defined scheme identification mark with usage guidance that can be downloaded in multiple formats including SVG here (ZIP archive, 8.3MiB) and which would contribute to the core article content.
However; The scheme identification mark is a work created by EfC, a private not-for-profit organisation appointed by HM Government to manage the DRS, and so far as I can tell from the usage guidance the work would be subject to copyright (Which might be used to control and enforce specific uses of it) and thus not eligible for upload to Commons without appropriate knowledge of the justifications and modifications needed to such work to allow it to be used to present the scheme identification mark in a way which conforms to due respect of EfCs IPR and Wikipedia content guidelines.
Please could somebody with better experience in this area, who knows how to upload such works correctly, please upload the scheme identification mark to Commons (Preferably the SVG version if permissible) and ensure this is correctly identified as a private/copyrighted work which is being used to present the scheme identification mark which will appear on UK-DRS containers, equipment and informational material.
Thanks in advance!
