Pritchett redshirted and appeared in two games as a freshman in 2022.[5] The following season, he appeared in all 14 games as a backup, being used at both right tackle and left tackle.[6] He won a starting role as a redshirt sophomore in 2024.[7][8] He appeared in 13 games during the 2024 season, starting 11 at right tackle and one at left tackle.[9] He helped the Alabama offense rank top 25 nationally and Pritchett was named to the Outland Trophy watchlist during the season.[5] After the season, he entered the NCAA transfer portal and transferred to the Nebraska Cornhuskers.[10][11]
