Exaplatanos (Greek: Εξαπλάτανος; Macedonian: Капињани, Kapinjani;[2] Turkish: Kapinyari) is a village and a former municipality in the Pella regional unit, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Almopia, of which it is a municipal unit.[3] The municipal unit has an area of 422.907 km2.[4] Population 6,105 (2021). In 1912 the village numbered 1,315 residents exclusively Pomak Muslims.
