She was born in Westfield, New York and attended Miss Nardin's Academy in Buffalo, New York where she lived. Marguerite Ne Moyer was also a film actress. Her family was in show business and she performed with the Anson Gilmore Stock Company.[1]
A reported noted her among performers to be used in support of Mae Hotaling at Lubin, describing her as "the girl with the beautiful eyes".[2]
