Herbert Singerman

Herbert "Herb" Singerman (born 23 April 1946) is a Canadian former wrestler. He competed in both freestyle and Greco-Roman styles at the 1968 Summer Olympics.[1]

Singerman wrestled collegiately at Appalachian State in Boone, North Carolina, where he was an NAIA wrestling All-American and NCAA wrestling championships national qualifier. Following his competitive career, Singerman was a physical education teacher and wrestling coach at A. C. Reynolds High School in Asheville, North Carolina.[2] In 2023, he was inducted into the Appalachian State Athletics Hall of Fame.[3]
