Between the year 2024 and 2025, Jidex expanded his social media audience, reaching one million followers on TikTok in 2025. In September 2025, Vanguard Nigeria included him in its coverage of “Top Emerging Nigerian Creatives,” citing his contributions to digital media discussions.[5]

During this period, his content broadened from humor and social observation to include commentary on public and civic issues. He addressed several widely discussed digital incidents, including the reported kidnapping of content creator Peller and the death of comedian Sanku.[14][15][16]

In an interview with Punch Newspapers, Jidex stated that his engagement with social advocacy began in 2024,[1] including efforts to assist individuals in recovering assets lost to fraudulent business schemes. Responding to comparisons with other activists especially Verydarkman in The Sun Nigeria, he stated that his actions were guided by personal principles rather than emulation.[17] On January 23, 2025, he was nominated and recognized at the African Creators Summit. He received a subsequent nomination at the 2026 edition of the African Creators Summit on January 29, 2026.[18][19]

Jidex Foods Nigeria Limited

In October 2025, Jidex launched Jidex Foods Nigeria Limited, a Nigerian food and snack company. The food business was established as part of his expansion into offline entrepreneurial ventures beyond just digital content creation and fashion. Jidex Foods Nigeria Limited operates within the food services sector, focusing on the production and distribution of affordable food and snack products targeted at the mass market. Trademarked as Jidex Foods on the 26th day of October 2026.

The launch of the company marked a diversification of Jidex’s business interests, positioning him within Nigeria’s small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) landscape

Jidex Klothing

Jidex founded the fashion brand Jidex Klothing in 2017, which was named “Fastest Growing Fashion House” at the Cool Wealth Awards 2024. The Sun Nigeria reported that the recognition reflected the brand’s expansion within the local fashion sector.[3] That same year, he appeared as a honorary guest at the Lagos State University Students’ Union (LASUSU) Pageantry & Awards.[4]

Philanthropy and Advocacy

Jidex’s philanthropic activities focus on social advocacy and consumer protection within Nigeria’s digital economy. Beginning in 2024, he used his social media platform to support individuals who had experienced financial fraud and unfulfilled commercial agreements. His interventions have included assisting victims in pursuing the recovery of funds from vendors and debtors operating within online marketplaces.[22]

In interviews with Nigerian media outlets, Jidex described this shift as the development of a “purpose-driven brand.” In a statement to Punch Newspapers, he noted that his advocacy efforts stem from a perceived responsibility to protect vulnerable participants in youth-driven digital communities. While commentators have compared his activism to that of other Nigerian public figures, Jidex has maintained that his actions are grounded in personal values and the constructive use of his online influence.

Beyond direct intervention efforts, he has publicly promoted financial literacy among young Nigerians and emerging digital creators, emphasizing sustainable business practices and long-term economic planning in an industry often characterized by income volatility.[19]
