Kankipadu is a Suburb of Vijayawada in Krishna District of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is also the mandal headquarters of Kankipadu mandal in Vuyyuru revenue division.[1][2]

It is located 55 km towards west from district headquarters Machilipatnam. Kankipadu is located at 16.4500°N 80.7833°E.[3] It has an average elevation of 6 metres (22 feet). Kankipadu is Eastern Parts of Vijayawada .
