Miles Kelly (born January 26, 2003) is an American professional basketball player for the Texas Legends of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Auburn Tigers.

High school career

Coming out of high school, Kelly was rated as a four-star recruit and committed to playing college basketball for Georgia Tech over other schools such as NC State, Miami (Florida), Texas A&M, and Wake Forest.[1]

College career

As a freshman in 2021–22, Kelly appeared in 30 games with one start, where he averaged 4.5 points and 1.4 rebounds per game for Georgia Tech.[2] On February 28, 2023, he dropped 30 points versus Syracuse.[3] During the 2022–23 season, Kelly averaged 14.4 points per game.[4] On February 10, 2024, he dropped a career-high 36 points versus Louisville.[5] During the 2023–24 season, Kelly averaged 13.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game,[6] earning all-ACC honorable mention.[7] After the season, he entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[8]

Kelly transferred to play for the Auburn Tigers.[9] In his team debut on November 6, 2024, he put up 21 points on seven made threes in a season-opening win over Vermont.[10] On January 25, 2025, Kelly hit a game-winning three against Tennessee.[11] On February 8, he totaled 22 points against Florida.[12] On March 1, Kelly scored 30 points while making nine threes in a win over Kentucky in Rupp Arena.[13]

Professional career

After not being selected in the 2025 NBA draft, Kelly signed a two-way contract with the Dallas Mavericks on July 5, 2025.[14] He made 14 appearances for Dallas, averaging 3.1 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.9 assists. On March 1, 2026, Kelly was waived by the Mavericks.[15][16]
