Millerovsky District

Millerovsky District (Russian: Ми́ллеровский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the forty-three in Rostov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,237 square kilometers (1,250 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the town of Millerovo.[1] Population: 68,360 (2010 Census);[3] 36,591 (2002 census);[6] 36,468 (1989 Soviet census).[7] The population of Millerovo accounts for 53.4% of the district's total population.[3] The district contains the Millerovo air base.[8]
