Mladen Muše (born 20 January 1963) is a German (before 2006[1]) and Croatian chess Grandmaster (2001).

Chess career

In 1982, Muše won the bronze medal in the Federal Republic of Germany Junior Chess Championship in U20 age group in Dortmund. In 1985, 1987 and 1989 he won three Berlin City Chess Championships.[2] Muše competed several times in the individual finals of the German Chess Championship, achieving his greatest success in 1991 in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, where he took 4th place (behind Vlastimil Hort, Jörg Hickl and Wolfgang Uhlmann).[3] In 1999, he won German Blitz Chess Championship.[4][circular reference]

Muše achieved the highest rating in his career so far on 1 July 2000, with a score of 2510 points, he was then 27th -28th place among German chess players.[6]
