Neunburg vorm Wald (German pronunciation: [ˈnɔʏnbʊʁk foːɐ̯m ˈvalt] , lit.'Neunburg before the Forest') is a town in the district of Schwandorf, in Bavaria, Germany. It is situated 21 km east of Schwandorf on the river Schwarzach, a tributary of the Naab.
