Nik Shahr

City in Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nik Shahr (Persian: نیک‌شهر)[a] is a city in the Central District of Nik Shahr County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4] The original name of Nikshahr was Geh.[5]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 13,267 in 2,365 households.[8] The following census in 2011 counted 15,889 people in 3,399 households.[9] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 17,732 people in 4,156 households.[2]
