Established in 1892, PPC was South Africa’s first cement plant. The company is headquartered in Rosebank, Johannesburg, and operates beyond South Africa’s borders, with operations in Botswana and Zimbabwe. PPC has a cement capacity of nine million tonnes annually. In 2025, PPC announced a landmark investment in a new integrated cement facility in South Africa, with a capacity of 1.5 million[2] tonnes per annum, which will promote a more sustainable approach to cement production.
