Paul Ernest Held Jr. (October 20, 1927 – July 19, 2019)[1] was an American professional football quarterback in the National Football League (NFL).

Biography
Held was born in El Segundo, California.[2] Held was selected in the nineteenth round of the 1953 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions and later played with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers. He played at the collegiate level at San Diego State University.[3]
