Pyrausta morenalis

Pyrausta morenalis is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Harrison Gray Dyar Jr. in 1908.[1] It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Washington to California and west to Texas and Nevada. It is also found in Mexico.[2]

The wingspan is 18–22 mm. The forewings are dark reddish brown with a bronzy shine. The hindwings are pale.[3] Adults have been recorded on wing from March to July and in October and December.[4]
