Sitaram is a Hindu term for the deity Sita and Rama. It is also used as a greeting by Hindus in the Hindi Belt especially in the Awadh, Bhojpur, and Mithila regions as well as being used by the diaspora in Fiji, Guyana, Jamaica, Mauritius, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago.[1][2][3][4] Sitaram is also a given name.

Sita-Rama, a combination of the names of Rama and Sita, is also used as a common greeting in some parts of the world.
