Spahić (IPA: [ˈspaxitɕ]) or Spahic/Spahich is a Bosnian surname. It is derived from the Turkish term sipahi (from Persian: سپاهی (sepāhī) with the meaning "soldier") for a cavalryman by adding the South Slavic surname forming suffix -ić.
