Collage
I have commented out the collage, which contains duplication (Libyan protests and the Arab Spring) and has two US-centred entries. If we must have a collage, we can do a lot better. Please discuss before including. Deb (talk) 13:13, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
- @The ganymedian:, @Deb:, and @Jim Michael 2:
- maybe we should replace the overthrow of Muammar Khadafi with the Syrian Civil War, also we should think of something else to replace the Occupy Wall Street movement. any thoughts???? 4me689 (talk) 18:27, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
- The First Libyan Civil War, the Syrian civil war & the 2011 Thailand floods should be added. Minecraft & the Occupy movement should be removed. Jim Michael 2 (talk) 20:02, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
- I'm not sure why Occupy is up for removal... also why is it a big deal if 2/8 pictures are from the US? That country is probably the main player in world politics, and a lot of things that happen there define the years and spread to other countries... The ganymedian (talk) 20:27, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
- Occupy spread to many countries, but it's not important enough to include due to it not having major effects. Jim Michael 2 (talk) 20:36, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
- i think you should add STS-135 to the collage Gennicyro4 (talk) 01:33, 7 July 2023 (UTC)

I would also like to suggest changing the date format of this article to the DMY format (e.g. 6 June 2020 as opposed to June 6, 2020). The DMY format seems more international and more suitable for a "global" article like. Also DMY simply makes more sense as it goes from smallest to highest. At the village pump, I've presented a proposal to establish a standard to use DMY in general for all articles about "generic" years. The discussion got kind of messy however, and I'll propaly restart it at some point. In the meantime, I would like it to create consensus about changing it for specifically this and all other nine articles about the 2010s--Marginataen (talk) 16:14, 28 November 2023 (UTC) |
