Adam was not male
Someone help me here. I read only English, so I wouldn't know about other (original languages). Seems to me that Only Genesis 5:2 clarifies who Adam is i.e. both male and female were NAME/CALLED Adam. Importantly so,this was the naming by God himself. Otherwise, the name Eve was by the male Adam; and most notably, the name Eve is cited to have been given (by the male) after they had sinned (ref. Genesis 3:20). - What you are probably referring to is Adam Kadmon, the concept of Adam as perfect human-being and embodiment of both male and female humans? VenusFeuerFalle (talk) 01:22, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
- Adam(AS)and Eve (AS) both are male and female respectively. Both were couple and the first humans to exist. 116.71.189.196 (talk) 04:50, 31 August 2025 (UTC)

Align info box with other Abrahamic persons?
It seems to me other persons of the Abrahamic tradition, Gabriel, Michael (archangel), Raphael (archangel), the info box saints are used as one; I've edited Adam and Eve, so they're separate, as before the infobox saints was in child to infobox persons. As most if not all Abrahamic traditions venerate Adam and Eve, why is this the exception to the infobox saints; Is it a sourcing problem? My point is that the infobox should be changed to infobox saints for Adam and Eve 2x2x2x2x2 (talk) 21:57, 20 January 2026 (UTC)
Mythology citations
Citation 5 (first on in the mythology subsection) links to an amazon book listing and not the actual book with specific pages; and the wayback link does not work due to amazon captcha. I do not own the book so I cannot update the citation to include specific pages that support the preceding paragraph. Citation 6 does link to a short pdf of the same name by the same authors that appears to just be a summary of one of their conference talks. Sulpicia Rufae (talk) 19:22, 12 February 2026 (UTC)
There is a page for Adam in Old English Wikipedia Now!
I made a page for him in Old English Wikipedia today, but it is a stub, so please add content including images! Also put it in the category "Genesis". Thank you. Here is the link: ang.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam :-) ~2025-35519-87 (talk) 15:22, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
