Percentage of population that is Muslim
The chart states that, according to the 2023 census, 45.9% of Albanians are adherents of Islam, but that's only Sunni Muslims, not the total percentage that are Muslims. ~2026-13260-01 (talk) 05:06, 1 March 2026 (UTC)
- What you say is consistent with what's given in the infobox, which is 45.86% Sunni, 4.81% Bektashem. (Side note: will there ever be an end to my learning of yet another school of Islam that I've never heard of before? I didn't even know about the Sunni/Shi'a split until the Iranian revolution in the 1970s, when I was in college. There are so many more!) Largoplazo (talk) 05:50, 1 March 2026 (UTC)
