Examples given in the 1st table display identically.
The example text provided in the first table intends to differentiate Arial from Tahoma. However the examples listed under each type display identically. 98.47.170.188 (talk) 09:26, 26 August 2023 (UTC)
Proposal to rename this article
As I read it, this article is about type design for Arabic script. It is not about typography, which about designing pages as whole. Typography includes layout, typeface selection, margins, illustrations and so on. So I propose to move the article to "Arabic type design". Does anyone have a reason why I should not go ahead? (I will leave this notice until 30 March.) 𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 19:22, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
- I have made a similar proposal at talk:Thai typography and have been advised to widen it to talk:East Asian typography. Consequently, I will delay taking any action until 15 April, to give time for further comments. --𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 08:47, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
Convert table to image
Would some kind Windows user please make an image of the table? Because, as it stands, both samples look identical to users of other platforms. Given that most readers use mobiles to access Wikipedia and most of those use variants of Android, the present arrangement is rather "user hostile". 𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 10:46, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
