Talk: Atradius

Hi, the page is factual and verifiable but we see the comment posted and would welcome advice as Wiki's response to our pages seems to differ greatly from language to language. We don't want to violate the rules but need a bit of advice please? In addition,a graphic showing Atradius'company history and a picture of Atradius' HQ were removed because they "violated copyright" but they were created by us, so we are unclear why? Welcome any advice you can give me, JA Atradian (talk) 07:51, 27 September 2011 (UTC)

Ipersonally and completely understand your issues here. Thank you very much for your good-willed attempt. Oalexander-En (talk) 03:54, 13 July 2013 (UTC)

Request: Expand product descriptions and update "See also"

I am employed by Atradius Collections and am disclosing this per WP:COI. I am requesting community review rather than editing directly.

Rationale: The current Products section lists five business lines without context, limiting usefulness for readers. Atradius is the world's second-largest credit insurer by market share (22% of global premiums as of 2024) and, together with Allianz Trade (31%) and Coface (14%), forms the so-called "Big Three" that collectively underwrite roughly two-thirds of the global credit-insurance market.[1] The proposed descriptions are factual, sourced from a mix of company and independent references, and written in neutral tone per WP:NPOV. The "See also" section is updated to include the other two Big Three insurers and a related government body.

These products include: -* Trade Credit Insurance -* Surety -* Instalment Credit Protection; -* Reinsurance -* Collections +* Trade Credit Insurance – covers sellers against buyer non-payment arising from insolvency or protracted default on domestic and export transactions. Atradius holds a 22% share of the global credit-insurance market.[1] The company is rated A (Excellent), stable outlook by AM Best and A1, stable outlook by Moody's.[2] +* Surety – issues contract bonds and guarantees (bid, performance, advance-payment, customs, and compliance bonds) in construction, infrastructure, and public-procurement markets.[3] According to the International Credit Insurance & Surety Association (ICISA), of which Atradius is a founding member, global insured surety exposure rose to EUR 1.5 trillion in 2024.[4] +* Instalment Credit Protection (ICP) – protects consumer-finance lenders and retailers against buyer default on hire-purchase and instalment-credit agreements.[5] +* Reinsurance – through Atradius Re, an authorised EU reinsurer, the group provides credit and bond reinsurance capacity to insurers and financial institutions worldwide.[6] +* Collections – Atradius Collections provides business-to-business debt collection and receivables management in more than 40 countries, covering amicable, pre-legal, and legal recovery.[7]
