Keldur

Chiswick Chap, Keldur is about a research institute near Reykjavík, rather than the turf houses in South Iceland, so I have removed the wikilinks. There are French and Icelandic articles for both, e.g. fr:Keldur (institution) and fr:Keldur á Rangárvöllum. Would an interlanguage link be useful? TSventon (talk) 00:10, 14 January 2023 (UTC)

Yes, shameful we have no coverage. I'd best write the article. Chiswick Chap (talk) 07:28, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
Curiously the Swedish article has more citations so I'll translate that. Chiswick Chap (talk) 09:10, 14 January 2023 (UTC)

Strangeness

Tolkien was a Traditional Catholic who even opposed Vatican II. To say that Bilbo Baggins is a portrait of a queer man, as a consequence, is simply an egregious misleading of the reader of this article. Thanks for discussing, and welcome to Wikipedia. Our job as editors is to represent the full range of scholarly and critical published opinion on a topic, which we have sought to do quietly, accurately, and even-handedly according to the available sources. Tolkien as author represents just one side of this subject, and he is certainly well-represented in the large number of articles on his writings. The 'Strangeness' subsection is itself cited to multiple reliable sources. Readers of this article will see the different cited comments on the subject in the 'Analysis' chapter, will realize that 'Strangeness' is just one aspect of this, and will make up their own minds accordingly.
