Error in the introductory sentence

In the very first sentence it says that the Boston Massacre happened on the 5th of May, even though it was March. The date is correct in the rest of the article as far as I can tell, but it is very misleading to have that error in the lead sentence (especially since this blurb is the first search result on Google). Please fix this problem (since this is a semi.protected article, I can't do it myself). 2A02:3102:9714:9C0:A9FE:26BC:FCA4:419B (talk) 17:44, 19 February 2025 (UTC)

Fixed. checkY It was a transcription error during a copyedit by Keystone18 (talk · contribs) during a copyedit a few days ago, so it wasn't misleading for long. I've made similar errors in the past. Seasider53 (talk) 18:47, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for catching and fixing. Keystone18 (talk) 18:49, 19 February 2025 (UTC)

“Background” para 3 typo?

In the “Background” section, paragraph 3, last sentence, I think “house” should be capitalized since it’s referring to a legislative chamber? I’d just fix it but the page is protected. 2601:14D:4F80:D610:192E:8CC5:2D53:86DF (talk) 18:54, 6 October 2025 (UTC)

Not just this article

sometimes it's important (or even critical) to know the Date (and possibly time) of the creation and esp the most recent update/edits of the article without having to go into the editior portion of the page. I don't see that it's on the page... maybe I am missing it? ~2026-89763-1 (talk) 20:53, 9 February 2026 (UTC)

You could simply use Boston Massacre: Revision history. Dimadick (talk) 09:07, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
Or you can just create an account and enable the XTools gadget, which will allow you to see almost all of those details without having to go through revision history. StephenMacky1 (talk) 09:19, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
