Ethymoly
One possibility of origin of term Bulgar, is that the name tribe is apparented with turkish "Bulucu" --> "Explorator, discoverer". "Bulgar" could be apparented also with Celtic Tribe names "Volques/Volcae" or with the Irish mythic tribe "Firm Bolg" with the same meaning. ~2025-40700-61 (talk) 21:48, 14 December 2025 (UTC)

Romanization of country's name
As explained in the article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romanization_of_Bulgarian ("An exception to the rules was introduced by the Bulgarian authorities in 2006, mandating the transliteration of word-final -ия as -ia rather than -iya in given names and geographical names (such as Ilia, Maria and Bulgaria, Sofia, Trakia etc.)."), the romanization of Република България should be Republika Bŭlgaria, not Republika Bŭlgariya.
